SCAM ALERT How to Spot Fake Vendors β The Hidden "Release Fee" Scam βΌ
A common scam pattern reported across vendor channels: a "vendor" shows you a clean product list and legitimate-looking photos. You pay. A day or two later, once you're given a tracking number, they suddenly claim there's a "customs hold," "release fee," or "clearance fee" β typically around an additional $250 β and insist you must pay it before they'll release your package. They promise "you'll get it back" once the package arrives. It never does, or the package never even existed.
Red flags:
β’ Any request for additional payment after the original order is placed.
β’ Pressure/urgency ("pay now or it gets seized/destroyed").
β’ A "refundable" fee that is never actually refunded.
β’ No verifiable tracking number on a real carrier site before the fee is requested.
β If a vendor asks for money after the sale to "release" your order, stop β that is not how real customs/shipping fees work, and legitimate carriers bill the recipient directly, not through the seller.

GUIDE How to Spot a Fake COA βΌ
1. Match the batch/lot number. The COA must show a batch or lot number that matches the one printed on your actual vial label. If the vendor can't produce a COA tied to your specific batch, that's a red flag.
2. Verify the testing lab is real. Look up the lab's name independently. Legitimate 3rd-party labs (e.g. Janoshik, MZ Biolabs) have their own websites and a track record.
3. Check for inconsistent purity/mass results. Be suspicious of suspiciously round numbers or no chromatogram images included.
4. Cross-check the date. An old COA reused across many different batches is a major warning sign.
5. Contact the lab directly if unsure. If a vendor discourages you from doing this, that's itself a red flag.
6. Watch for edited PDFs. Reports edited in generic PDF editors rather than exported directly from lab software are a warning sign.

NEW ATX304 (OS01) + Tirzepatide β Theoretical Synergy for Weight Maintenance βΌ
ATX304 (also sold as OS01 / OS04) is an oral compound being studied as an AMPK and mitochondrial activator β it's not a GLP-1 medication itself, but it's being researched alongside GLP-1/GIP agonists like Tirzepatide for a theoretically complementary mechanism: Tirzepatide reduces appetite and food intake, while ATX304's proposed AMPK activation may support energy expenditure, fat oxidation, and metabolic flexibility.
The angle generating the most interest: early research and anecdotal reports suggest that people using ATX304 alongside or while titrating off a GLP-1 medication may be more likely to keep weight off afterward, compared to stopping the GLP-1 alone β plus emerging research on fatty liver (MASLD) benefits.
β This is theoretical/early-stage research, not a proven outcome. Always discuss with your doctor before combining compounds.

Peptides for Long-COVID? β Larazotide & Leaky Gut βΌ
One ongoing theory about long COVID is that viral reservoirs and spike protein may persist in the gut, then leak into circulation because of increased intestinal permeability.
Along these lines, the specific peptide larazotide is being explored for long COVID at Harvard and elsewhere.
The idea is that by improving tight junction function and reducing "leaky gut," larazotide may help prevent spike protein and other viral antigens from escaping into the bloodstream and perpetuating inflammation.
